1.  Quiz Week 14 vocabulary words

2.  Complete the Grammar table if you haven't already.  ( this was already due on Sunday )

3.  Memorize the irregular verbs if you haven't already.  ( be prepared for a test on Sunday)
4.   Read the handout " SIGHT WORDS "  several times.  You should be able to fluently and quickly read all the words on

I will not be able to make it to school tomorrow as my daughter had an accident at school and was hospitalized all Saturday morning.

1. Create a new page from the blog dashboard.  
             a.  Click on your blog 
             b.  Under the orange icon that says "New Post" there is a link for "Pages"
             c.  Click on Pages link and add "new page"
             d.  Call the page "Idioms"
2.  Find five idioms that you like
3.  For each idiom do the following
               * write the idiom
               ** find a picture that represents each idiom
               *** write the meaning of each  idiom
              **** use each idiom in a sentence
4.  Complete Apostrophes worksheets .
5.  Read Chapter 1 from the novel "Holes" by Louis Sachar and answer the questions ( Separate Page for HOLES on the blog )

1.  Complete Vocabulary week 11.
** For C1C students -- you need to complete it using either Office HD or Pages on a word document.  I will not accept a "NOTES" file.  Make sure you still write your name, date and title of assignment.  All vocabulary assignments need to be organized in folders using Office HD.

2.  Blog post comparing a character from "The BFG" and a character from "Tales from Shakespeare."  Make sure you insert a picture.  
3.  For Extra Credit -- Write one blog post summarizing one Shakespeare play from "Tales from Shakespeare" that we did not read in class.

1.  You will be giving an oral explanation of why you chose the specific template, background and colors for your blog.  You can change your templates, and background colors by clicking on "TEMPLATES."
